Leeds Digital Festival is back once again in 2016 and KMAH will be streaming from it.
LDF is a city wide affair that has events in many different venues from Monday April 25th to Friday April 29th and runs in association with Live at Leeds. It aims to showcase fast rising musical talents and latest emerging technologies, will attract 10, 000 people and offer talks an insights into the world of coding, FinTech, information security, data, startups and digital music amongst ther things.
There have been talks at Headroom House about “the impact of technology on news”, “the battle for video” and “the media’s obsession with 16-25s” with panel members from the BBC and The Yorkshire Post, there are also talks and workshops around Trinity University on Social Media Skills For The Third Sector, plus a showcase of career and graduate opportunities on the Digital Ladder. Code in the Dark will also find developers battling against each other to see who has the finest skills.
Meanwhile, Live at Leeds showcases all sorts of pop acts and indie bands as well as some slick hip hop DJs, and KMAH will be streaming on Friday night from 6-10pm, so be sure to tune in.
