REP: Breve Encounter
BioSouth London native and Leeds migrant Tom Hannah is more akin to playing techno than Tchaikovsky. Now he’s swapping Steve Rachmad for Rachmaninoff and Ben Sims for Brahms in a unique KMAH show that spans the 16th century to the modern day.
New listeners of classical music will hear the essential canon of composers without the associated snobbery and elitism that permeates the scene. As well as providing an introduction to classical music Tom will finally put his history degree to use by providing the vital historical context of compositions in order to elucidate the music.
