Have You Heard This? is the show that had to happen. Your host is DJ Slippers (a.k.a Kristan J Caryl), but you won’t have heard of him, because he has never played anywhere but his own front room. The reason he’s braving the real world is his wife: for years she’s been told that ‘of course I need a third BBC Sound Effects LP and that new Qawwali compilation because, one day, I will have a radio show.’ This is that show. As well as house and techno from across the ages, the main focus will be vinyl hoarder oddities, funk, soul, dub and disco that will make you want to kiss someone, cry into your hands or get up and dance. Maybe even all three.
